KICK IT CLEAN- The Campaign
Better, Cleaner India
TFF believes there is immense talent in the country, especially amongst the less fortunate sections of the society. Kick it Clean is an initiative of The Football Faktory (TFF) to tap & nurture football talent from the less fortunate sections of the society, with a vision to make them more complete humans and give them a career direction in the sport, be it as a player, coach, or in the management side. TFF believes.
Simultaneously, staying true to its values of quality, and shaping a better India, TFF aims to add value to our Prime Minister’s initiative- “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” by providing basic necessary equipments such as a pair of boots and gloves to cleanliness executives across regions to perform their duties with higher effectiveness.
TFF, a football school dedicated to change the grassroots football landscape in India, started by former English Premier League player, coach, scout and now a football pundit on Television, intends to achieve holistic development of the child, in addition to his football development. The same is achieved through START philosophy, with a vision to help the child be successful in whatever he does in life.
TFF believes in knitting strong and useful partnerships and exploit them to the maximum for benefit of its children. TFF wishes to form strong associations with like-minded associates, be it a corporate, club, schools & colleges or associations.
TFF recently had their first success story when Bangalore girl Tapaswini Varshneya , who secured 100% scholarship through the association of TFF & ASIS (Anglo Anglo Schools International Services), and would pursue her most loved sport football along with her college- Ellesmere School, UK.
Problems being addressed
1) Unequal opportunities for the less fortunate: Major population of the country is deprived of even basic education and hence, face adverse conditions throughout their lives. The Football Faktory, hence, has taken a small initiative where they would identify, talent and nurture selected children and train them to be better humans, contributing to the nation, in addition to imparting football knowledge.
2) Career direction in the Sport: The Football Faktory would train these kids to either be football players, coaches, managers. The demand of each of these is going to rise by manifolds in the years to come.
3) Value addition to ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’: PM’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ is a great initiative to build a cleaner India. TFF, in its limited capacity wishes to add further value to the campaign by providing a pair of boots and gloves to cleanliness executives to help them perform their duty with higher effectiveness. This also teaches them about personal hygiene and maintain higher standards.
All funds would go to The Football Faktory, which in exchange would select children and work on their holistic development with special focus on football and career direction through it.
Training of a child including kit, boots and a mentor costs about Rs. 45,000 (450GBP/ 600EURO) a year. Each such contribution goes into development of a less fortunate child and so on, while any contribution less than Rs.45,000 (450GBP/ 600EURO) adds up to the aforementioned amount to help us develop the child.
We Indians, strive to make the nation better, cleaner and grassroots is the right way to go about it as we can work with the next generation and inculcate in them, the right values and practices that shall help us contribute towards the betterment of India.
While we Indians move around the World in awe and appreciate acts, our perspective to India is that of accepting as it is.
TFF here strives to bring a change by working with the kids that form the new generation and are capable of making a change. Through our START philosophy, we strive to imbibe the right values in the children and give them a sense to contribute to the betterment of the nation.
Also, to put an end to acceptance for mediocrity, and working towards better quality standards, we shall provide a pair of boots and gloves to the cleanliness executives across regions to add further effectiveness to their efforts of cleaning India and in the process, giving it back to the nation.
We hence, request you to pledge support and give a push to our small campaign of a better, cleaner India.
Any contribution would go into the development of a child. Amounts less than Rs.45,000 (450GBP/ 600EURO) would look at adding up to the amount to support the initiative for one child. Also, a pair of boots and gloves shall be given to the Cleanliness executives, followed by shout out across social media platforms.
